ISAT Interactive Testing Access Information:
If you cannot access the online tests, please check the information below. Contact us if you continue to have trouble. Email: support@metalogic1.com
- Browsers: Internet Explorer 6 or greater, Firefox 1.5 or greater, Safari 2.0 or greater.
- If you're bothered by a loading icon in the lower left of the test window that doesn't want to stop, click the browser "refresh" button.
- Javascript must be enabled in the browser
- Pop-up blockers may block the test page from opening, and if so, instruct the pop-up blocker to allow access.
- If you only allow trusted sites, you may need include access to http://isbetest.org
For those using proxy servers, you may have to bypass your proxy server and access our sites directly.
- The tests do not work with Internet Explorer Version 5 (IE5). The users will just see unending swirling dots. IE 5 has not been upgraded since 2000 and does not work with the latest technology. It has not been supported since 2003, and therefore should no longer be used. Free upgrades are available.
- Javascript needs to be enabled in the browser. To test if Javascript is enabled, click here. If Javascript is NOT enabled, the test will display the message "JavaScript is currently not enabled for your browser!" and if so, you will need to enable JavaScript or update your browser to use this site"
- If using IE 6 or IE 7: The web application requires a browser to handle AJAX (Asynchronous
JavaScript and XML) requests. IE6 handles ajax with the default
settings. There are three settings, that if disabled, will cause the program to not operate correctly.
To access these settings go to Tools Menu -> Internet Options... ->
Security Tab -> Select Internet Zone -> Custom Level... Button.Scroll to the three settings below and make sure each one is enabled:
ActiveX controls and plug-ins
1. - Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins (Enable)
2. - Script ActiveX controls marked safe for scripting (Enable)
Scripting
3. -Active scripting (Enable)
- The testing system is intended to score one test at a time. If students have multiple tests open in different windows within the same browser, that could cause inaccurate scoring.
Be sure to take only one test at time.
If none of the above suggestions help, please contact us at above email to work with you.
